Sun Exposure

Sun exposure is one of the major causes of over ninety percent of the skin cancer cases. All these are due to over-exposure to the harmful UV rays from the sun. The ultraviolet rays trigger the progression of non-melanoma skin cancers. This is the reason why it is very important to wear sun protection every time you get exposed to sunlight. On the other hand, a prolonged exposure to the heat of the sun is highly discouraged.

The clinical manifestation of skin cancer is more likely to show up in the next ten to thirty years of existence. But on the brighter side, skin cancer can still be dealt with by an early prevention. This is where a healthy and good skin care regime plays its vital role.
