Restricted Foods when Having Candidiasis Disease

Diet is one factor that can cause Candidiasis or yeast infection to arise in a person. Thus, it is very important to know what to eat and not to eat during the onset of the disease.

Many people are not aware that what they eat in everyday can also trigger yeast cells to outgrow in number, causing the infection to occur. Below are the restricted foods when having Candidiasis disease or yeast infection.

  • Sugar -- this is a number 1 food that you should avoid when you already experience some symptoms of Candidiasis. The reason why sugar is restricted is due to the reality that yeast or Candida cells do feed from sugar. Sugar is so far, their very source of energy, thus, taking much of it would trigger them to reproduce in numbers. So eat less sugar everyday to help you rid of yeast infection quickly.

  • Fruits -- while fruits are essential to health, when having Candidiasis, you have to avoid fruits that restrain fructose. Fructose is yet another type of sugar that belongs to the natural classification. Just be careful enough in choosing what foods to eat then, especially when yeast infection symptoms are perceptible.
  • Yeast -- this includes crackers, bread, dough and bread. Yeast cell overgrowth is the main cause of Candidiasis, thus, it is just right not to consume more yeast to prevent the condition from getting worse.

Above all, maintain a proper, hygienic routine.
