There are a lot of symptoms that indicates the progression of impetigo in a person. Some of its symptoms can vary according to the age of the sufferer. Initially, the condition starts with skin lesions. They are the first indications that such disorder is progressing. Skin lesions are often characterized by tiny blisters emerging on skin. Eventually, these blisters will burst, giving off a yellowish fluid discharge, which when leak develops into a crust. Blisters that are associated with the impetigo disorder are usually itchy. In some cases, impetigo sufferers would experience other relevant symptoms of skin disorder including swollen lymph nodes and a single rash point, which is often perceptible in children. Parents, whose children are infected with impetigo, should consider doing constant monitoring. Considering the nature of this rash as being itchy, it is inevitable for a child to scratch it. Scratching the affected spot would elicit the spread of the infection. Infants who suffer from impetigo usually endure from a swollen, irritated spot underneath, which transpires when the blisters blow off.
